STORYÂ
The Crusaders busted out of the gate in the first quarter, shooting a red-hot 13-19 to put up 32 points in the opening 10 minutes. The Crusaders made more buckets than the Sabercats could even attempt, as the hosts poured on the pressure to force 11 turnovers from Maranatha - it was all going right for the hosts.
The struggles continued into the second quarter, and after a similar 10-minute stretch, the Sabercats faced a 57-25 deficit going into halftime, and it looked like a rough night was ahead.
The Sabercats ultimately cut the quarter differences to just five points in the final two acts, but there was simply no stopping Great Lakes, who had six of their seven players hit double-digit points in the high-scoring win.
Makensie Mondy was the star of the game for the hosts, putting up a triple-double with 23 points, 11 rebounds, 10 assists
