LEAD

Katelyn Brown led her team with 17 points followed by Lindsay Mikkelson with 10.
12 of Martin Luther's 17 player roster ended with points on the board, led by Emma Nelson who had 15.

STORY
Martin Luther showed their home fans they were ready to play as they came out with a 15-0 run over Maranatha to start the game. It wasn't until Katelyn Morrison earned her first trip to the line that the Sabercats finally made it on the board.
But the Knights continued to pull away, making things look easy as they worked the ball into the paint, where they would earn 38 points by the end of the night.
A shift to zone for the Sabercats helped to stop some of the paint punishment they were receiving, however failure to rebound took away any reward of a successful defensive stop. Martin Luther grabbed 18 offensive boards, awarding them 20 second chance points.
Maranatha finished the game with a 36-75 loss, but face them again tomorrow, this time on their home-court.
