ELGIN, Ill. -- The Sabercats had their hands full at Judson University, falling twice on a clear day in Illinois. Judson University took the first game 22-3 before holding the Sabercats to just three hits in the second game, winning 11-1 to close the series.
Joe Anderson knocked a two-run home run in game one, leading the Sabercats offensively with two hits - both for extra bases.

STORY
Anderson's moment came in the third inning, when he smashed the homer to plate Jonathan Piranian - who reached first with one of two hits in game one. The Sabercats then capitalized on an error in the seventh inning to score a final run in the opener.
The highlight from game two came in the fifth inning, when Joe Anderson doubled to left field and eventually scored on a sacrific fly from Judson Martin. Tim Nickels and Teddy Haugen added hits in game two, and Judson Martin was credited with the loss after pitching four innings.
Judson had a productive day at the plate, logging 28 hits over the two games as a team.
