LEXINGTON, Ky. -- In a close match at the bat, with Asbury recording 10 hits to Maranatha's seven, the Eagle's were able to find the gaps better for a 10-0 win.
Joe Anderson and Jonathan Piranian led the Sabercats at bat with two hits each. Anderson recorded the only multi-base hit with a double in the top of the third.
Anderson pitched 97 pitches over five-innings and led on the day with nine strike-outs.

STORY
Strong clean-up from both teams kept the score 0-0 by the end of the first inning.
Both Maranatha and Asbury started putting men on the bases, but while Sabercats couldn't find their way home, the Eagles were able to execute starting in the second inning scoring two runs.
Maranatha continued to keep things at bay only trailing their opponents 0-3 at the top of the sixth. But the sixth inning was one for the Eagles as they recorded five hits and added six more runs to their total, pulling away with a 9-0 lead.
The Eagles later finished the game in walk-off fashion after scoring their 10th run in the bottom of the 7th.
