STORY
Game 1
Grace got things going early on earning a 4-0 lead by the end of the second inning. But it was the bottom of the third that really changed the pace of the game as the Sabercats struggled to get off the field, giving up nine more runs to the Tigers.
While Maranatha was able to get on base, they failed to find their way home throughout the game finishing empty handed with a score of 0-18. Bethany Searle led the game both at the plate and in the circle. She recorded a double to left field and threw a career-high five strike-outs.
Game 2
Same as the day before, the second game proved to be a game of improvement for Maranatha defensively. But once again, they struggled to figure out strike zone resulting in 14 strike-outs and awarding Grace's Emma Balkema a no-hitter.
Maranatha fell just short of extending the game past five-innings, falling 0-8.
