RIVER FOREST, Ill. -- Maranatha left Dominican with another tough loss, moving them to 0-10 as they near the end of the the fall semester. Once again, turnovers proved to be a problem for the Sabercats, allowing the hosts to score 48 points off turnovers alone.
While Maranatha excelled all night with earning trips to the line, they struggled to take advantage of the free point opportunities, finishing 16-26 from the line.
Both of these factors played a tremendous factor in the results for the Sabercats, allowing Dominican to prevail 81-39 for their second home court win of the season.
Despite the loss, Kyria Teachout had a successful night as she led her team, earning 14 points and 8 rebounds.
