STORY
The Sabercats struggled to gain traction in the early minutes of the game, as the Blue Angels scored 16 points before the Sabercats could get on the scoreboard. As the game progressed, the Sabercats' shooting percentages improved, but the Blue Angels had already dealt the Sabercats a gut punch. Going into the half, the Sabercats were facing a 19 point differential, 37-18.
The third quarter was the Sabercats' best showing of the night, as they shot 62% inside the arc, while simultaneously holding Mount Mary to just 43%. However, the Sabercats' push wasn't enough, as the Blue Angels still managed to outscore the Sabercats by 2 in the third quarter. The fourth quarter was almost an exact replica of the second scoring scoring-wise, as the hosts took a 75-48 win on their home court.
