STORYÂ
It was the Sabercats' first time facing live opposing pitchers this year, and North Central entered the series already in a rhythm, having completed 15 games already coming in. After being on the receiving end of Addison Schroer's no-hitter in game one, the Sabercats eventually scored their first runs of the season in the second game, as Beka D'Oyley scored in the second, capitalizing on an error from North Central, and Bethany Searle scored in the third.
Searle was responsible for the Sabercats' only hit on the day with a single in the fifth inning. Schroer proved her versatility for North Central, leading the Rams with 6 hits and 3 RBIs on the day.
