CARLINVILLE, Ill.. -- The Sabercats were outmatched at Blackburn College on the weekend, falling in two run-rule games to the Blackburn College Beavers, 0-8 and 0-13.
Shelby Koenig pitched a perfect game for the Beavers, registering 15 strikeouts in five innings in the opener, Lindsay Mikkelson spoiled the no-hitter in game two with a single to left field, providing the only bright spot to the Sabercats' offense.
Blackburn scored their 8 runs in game one off of 8 hits, and they scored their 13 runs off 11 hits in game two, logging three doubles.
