WATERTOWN, Wis. -- It was the same song, second verse for the Sabercats, who fell 0-18 both times in a twinbill loss to the Lawrence University Vikings.
Despite the loss, Bethany Searle reached the 100-career-strikeouts milestone on the day, as the senior now sits fourth all-time in Maranatha Softball program history.
Avery Chilson and Kylan Arndt combined for a perfect game in the second edition of the matchup, while Georgia Sedlack and Courtney Mercer combined for a no-hitter in the first game of the day.
Zoe Doherty did the most damage for the Vikings, tabulating 5 RBI off of a double, a triple, and a home run on the day.
