LANSING, Mich. -- The Sabercats had their best offensive performance of the 2025-26 season, taking 60 points off of 8th-ranked Great Lakes Christian College in a 60-85Â NCCAA Midwest Region road loss on Friday night.
This was the second time this season the Sabercats crept past the 50-points mark; Anna Alsup was the protagonist, scoring a career-high 20 points on the night to lead the Sabercats.

STORYÂ
The Sabercats struggled to come up with an answer for Great Lakes' high pressure in the first quarter, turning the ball over 15 times in the opening 10 minutes. Great Lakes cashed in 18 points off of the giveaways, taking a 32-11 lead into the first-quarter break.
The script flipped in the second, as Maranatha cleaned things up in possession and won the quarter 17-13. Alsup began to come to life, knocking down 8 points while Kristyn Pill backed her up with 4. Going into the halftime break, the Sabercats had a modicum of momentum but still trailed 28-45.
It was basically the same story in the second half: Great Lakes controlled the third quarter and Maranatha won the fourth. Alsup hit the 20-points mark via 9 points in the fourth quarter alone. Pill dished out 4 assists for a team-high 6, and Shank crept into double-digit points on the night with 5 points in the fourth, bumping her total to a career-high of 10 on the night as the Sabercats hit their best offensive display of the season.
