Women's Volleyball
SUMMARY
ANKENY, Iowa -- The Sabercats were off to a great start but ultimately lost momentum for good against Beloit, falling 3-2Â in front of a spirited crowd in their 2026 home opener. Layla Damotte led the Sabercats with 13 kills on the night while McKenzie Johnson pitched in 8. Sara Fitz-Henry and Ellie Jentoft led the defensive efforts with 16 and 14 digs, respectively.Â

The Sabercats had a three-day turnaround before hitting the road for an NCCAA Top-10 test, taking a straight-set loss to the Emmaus University Eagles in Dubuque on Friday night.Â

SUMMARY
ELSAH, Ill. -- Women's Soccer saw their two-week undefeated run come to an end at the hands of fifth-ranked Great Lakes, as the Crusaders took a resounding 7-0 win on their home field in Lansing, Michigan.
The weekend matchup looked like an easy win for Principia, as the Panthers scored early in the second half to take a 3-0 lead over Maranatha, but late goals from Kaylie Veldman and Caitlin Lundy gave the hosts a run for their money. Ultimately, Principia held on for a scrappy 3-2 win but the Sabercats had given them a genuine scare.

SUMMARY
WATERTOWN, Wis. -- Eureka College came in firing on all cylinders, taking a commanding 8-1 win over the Sabercats, whose only offering was a late header from Grant Brock from a Will Alsup corner kick. Buena Vista and Andrews effectively stifled the Sabercats' attack in the final two games of the week, as the Sabercats took three disappointing losses from a demanding week of games.
