Get ready for another fun volleyball camp at Maranatha! Volleyball camp is designed for individuals or teams and is divided into Junior High, Junior Varsity, and Varsity levels.
The camp is open to both boys and girls.
Head Coach Lindsay Lawson and her staff are ready to take your game to the next level!
Instruction focuses on individual basic skills and techniques of volleyball and team concepts including offensive and defensive strategies. Our experienced staff of coaches, former college standouts, and current college players lead the skills training and team competition at MBU's volleyball camp.
The campers are encouraged daily with biblical challenges by the camp staff. Be ready for training to pass, set, attack, serve, and block as you prepare for your next season of play.
Campers must be at least 12 years old to stay in the dorms on campus.
Costs
- Campers: $265 on or before July 1 ($290 after July 1)
- Coaches: Coaches are encouraged to attend camp with their teams. The coaches fee for room and board is $100
Included in the camp cost is a $35 non-refundable registration fee.
Room and Board
- All camps are overnight camps
- Campers will sleep in the MBU dormitories and will be supervised 24/7 by on-campus counselors
- All meals will be taken in the MBU Dining Complex
- Campers must be at least 12 years old in order to stay overnight on campus
- All dorms have air-conditioning capacity!
Discounts
- Team Discount: Ten or more from the same school or church receive $10 discount each
- Multiple Camp Discount: Campers coming to multiple athletic camps receive a $40 discount- $20 off each camp
- Maranatha Family Discount: Children of Maranatha faculty or staff who are going into 8th grade in the upcoming fall (or younger) receive a 50% discount
Arrival and Departure Information
- Check-in: Monday, July 21 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
- Check-out: Friday, July 25 after dinner

What to Bring
- Indoor and outdoor shoes
- Sweatpants to wear to meals
- Bedding and towel
- Bible, notebook, pen, and pencil
- **All prescription medications must be in their original containers**

- Please do not bring tank tops or other low-cut T-shirts
- Sweatpants for meals

- Anyone registering after July 1 is not guaranteed a T-shirt

Camp Philosophy and Policy
Maranatha hosts summer sports camps as a supplement to the mission statement of its Athletics Department: The Mission of the Maranatha Athletic Department is to develop leadership skills in the student-athlete through skilled training, Godly mentoring, and intercollegiate competition.
As such, campers experience what it's like to participate in college-level drills and receive college-level instruction that is tailored to their individual needs. All camps, for both boys and girls, offers a college-level experience in the court and in the classroom.
We believe there is one God, the creator and preserver of all things. Through Him, male and female were created, and all human life is sacred and cared for from conception (Genesis 1:27). MBU offers summer camps according to God's providential design of male and female individuals and requires participants to register and participate accordingly.
Registration
For all summer camps, ALL campers, coaches, and sponsors attending camp as a participant MUST complete a registration, and coaches must complete a background check.
