STORY
The Eagles were on a mission right from the start, limiting the Sabercats to just three kills in the opening set. The Eagles held Maranatha to single-digit points while putting up 10 kills, taking home a commanding 25-8 win in front of a rowdy students section.
The second frame was more of a battle, but the Eagles matched the intensity of the set with 17 kills - their highest of the match. Selah Gregory was the Eagles' go-to hitter, putting down 12 kills in the match, and it all seemed to be going right for the hosts, who closed the match out in three after a 14-kill showing in the final frame.
