WATERTOWN, Wis. -- Faith scored early and often this afternoon, using a first-half scoring spree and an Eliana Fritz hat-trick to take a 4-1 win over Maranatha this afternoon.
Esther Bishop punctuated the scoreline with the only goal of the day for Maranatha in the second half, as the Eagles swept the season series for 2024.

STORY
Faith wasted no time in getting on the scoreboard, as Emma Boldt fired a long shot in the fourth minute that was too much for Chloe Dodd to handle. Faith's next moments came around the 20-minute mark, when Eliana Fritz found the lower-left corner twice in the span of five minutes to increase the lead to 3 and give the visitors full control.
The Sabercats simply had to weather the storm, enduring an offensive barrage from Faith. Midway through the second half, the Sabercats started to pile on some offensive pressure and it paid off in the 72nd minute, when Bishop slammed in a rebound from Amelia Schroeder's shot to make it a 1-3 game.
Faith responded positively just a few minutes later, as Fritz lofted a shot from the right side into the left corner to complete her hat-trick, wrap up the scoring, and give the Eagles the hard-fought win to rain on the Sabercats' parade.
