Four and No More: (RV) Sabercats' Streak Snapped at No. 3 Great Lakes

Crusaders score early and often in home win.

LANSING, Mich. -- The Sabercats had their hands full against the third-seeded Great Lakes Christian College Crusaders this evening, falling 6-0 on the Great Lakes Campus in a tough NCCAA test.

The loss snaps the Sabercats' four-game winning streak, as the Sabercats will look to get back on track tomorrow in a rematch with Grace Christian.

STORY.

The Crusaders persisted in the first half, scoring twice in the opening half hour before adding a third just before the break. The second half was a similar story, as Great Lakes scored twice in quick succession around the one-hour mark before capping the scoring with just 59 seconds left.

Meela York scored twice to lead the Crusaders, registering 6 shots, 6 on goal for the hosts.

On Maranatha's end, Chloe Dodd made 12 saves in the loss.
