WATERTOWN, Wis. -- The Sabercats were the dangerous team today and dominated Eureka college, but the Red Devils stole the 1-0 with just three minutes left on the Maranatha campus.
The loss evened out the season series, as the Red Devils offset the Sabercats' 3-1 win from earlier this season.

STORY
It was all one-way traffic in the opening minutes, as the Sabercats fired off three shots on target but were denied every time by Megan Edwards, the Eureka goalkeeper. In the first half alone, the Sabercats logged 7 shots to the Red Devils' 2, and added 4 corners while the Red Devils didn't get one. At the halftime break, it seemed to be a matter of time before the Sabercats would break through.
The breakthrough just never came. The Red Devils had 3 shsots in the first 15 minutes of the second half but nothing besides that. At the other end of the field, Maranatha sent 7 shots - 5 on target - towards the Red Devils but never connected successfully. The game-winner eventually came in the 88th minute, when Brianna Murphy scored from close range off an Abby Mitchell corner kick.
Against the run of play, the Red Devils had taken the win and had evened out the series.
