STORY
The Trojans got in front early and never looked back, chalking up multiple runs in each of the six innings of the abbreviated contest. The hosts' biggest showing was an eight-run fifth inning, as they plated those eight runners off of seven hits.
Joe Anderson singled in each of his first two at-bats to lead the Sabercats offensively, with Teddy Haugen and Collin Pittsenbarger chalking hits as well.
The game ended early in the bottom of the sixth inning, as the injury sustained by the Maranatha student-athlete took place with one out, effectively ending the game on the run rule.
