WATERTOWN, Wis. -- The Sabercats were on the cusp of their first win of the season but had their hearts broken with North Central University's comeback, falling 8-6 on a rainy day thriller at Washington Park after losing the first game 2-15.

Maranatha led 6-1 after Joe Anderson knocked his first career home run, but a four-run rally in the top of the seventh tied the game for the Rams, the eventual winners.

Judson Martin finished with four hits and three RBIs on the day. Anderson led Maranatha with four hits, two runs, and two RBIs on the day.
