STORY
The Sabercats piled on the pressure early on, and it paid off when Robbie Lemon drew a foul inside the Beaver penalty area. Michael Doese stepped up to bury the shot from 12 yards out and give the Sabercats the 1-0 advantage.
From there, Maranatha was the more menacing team, as they pressed to double their lead. But the Beavers wouldn't be outdone, scoring three goals before the halftime break to make it a 3-1 game and change the momentum completely.
After the break, things started to go the Sabercats' way, as Aaron Jones converted the second penalty kick of the game after drawing the foul on a breakaway with the goalkeeper. Already, this game was defined by momentum swings.
The final swing was in the Beavers' favor, though, as a late goal from Ben Jackson - his second of the game - put the finishing touches on a 4-2 win for the Beavers.
