MILWAUKEE -- Last night was all about the Alverno Inferno, as Alverno College took a straight-set win on their home floor for their second win over the Sabercats this season.
This weekend brings the Sabercats' first NCCAA opportunity, as the squad will turn their attention Faith Baptist Bible College on Friday and Saturday for a four-match NCCAA weekend.

The Sabercats struggled to get any offensive momentum going on the night, as the Inferno limited Maranatha to just eight kills and three aces on the night. Tessa Hinze led Maranatha at the net with three kills and a solo block, while Megan Miller put down a couple of aces and contributed nine digs. Ella Malmanger led the Sabercats with 10 digs on the night - a career high.
On Alverno's side of the net, Rolin West put down 17 kills, as the NACC All-Conference hitter recently surpassed her 1,000-kills career milestone. On the night, Alverno put down 27 kills and 10 aces while keeping the floor clean with 55 digs.
