WATERTOWN, Wis. -- Maranatha was outmatched against Martin Luther tonight as they again struggled to maintain possession of the ball and put early points on the board.
Down a couple bodies, the Sabercats had to shake things up with a different starting line up, with Katelyn Shank and Beka Donovan both earning their second starts of the season.
Martin Luther was hot from the start and never slowed down, with 14 of their 16 woman roster earning points on the night. The Knights continued to attack the Sabercats all game, forcing 44 turnovers which led to 47 Martin Luther points.
For the Sabercats, Lillian Cook led the game with 10 points, tying her career high and going 100% from three-point range.
After falling 29-78 to the Knights, Maranatha sets their eyes ahead in preparation for their regional match-up against Emmaus, a team they fell by only 10 points to earlier in the season.
