STORY
Both teams traded chances in the opening 10 minutes, as Amelia Schroeder and Julia Pileggi both fired off shots for the Sabercats while Grace tried their luck for the go-ahead goal at the other end. Chloe Dodd made six saves in the first half before the Tigers could find a way through, as Kendall Johnson grabbed the opening goal at the 30-minute mark to put the fourth-ranked Tigers ahead.
Dodd kept the Sabercats in it, making 5 more saves to close the first half at a narrow 0-1 lead for the visitors.
The second half was more of the same, as the Tigers' onslaught was stopped only by the sure hands of Dodd, who made another 8 saves before the Tigers finally broke through for their second goal in the 82nd minute. Two parting shots - one from Schroeder and the other from Emily Wilson - were the closest the Sabercats could come in the second half, as the visitors took home a 2-0 win.
Dodd finished the game with 19 saves - her second-highest mark this season.
