LEAD
WATERTOWN, Wis. -- The Sabercats were hoping for a Parents' Day win over rivals, Faith Baptist, on a warm day in Watertown, but a three-goal blitz from the visitors changed the plan in an all-NCCAA matchup.
The Eagles scored early and never let the Sabercats onto the scoresheet, taking a 3-0 win back to Ankeny. The Sabercats will regroup and prepare to host Ripon College on Tuesday for a 4:00 p.m. kickoff.
OVERVIEW
- Result: Maranatha 0-3 Faith
- Venue: Maranatha Baptist University
- Location: Watertown, Wis.

STORY
The Eagles wasted no time getting on the scoresheet, as Emma Boldt pounced on a Sabercats' misplaced pass and capitalized on the opportunity. Just like that, the Eagles had their lead.
The only chances the Sabercats would generate were shots on goal from Julia Kennedy in the first half and from Amelia Schroeder in the second. Eliana Fritz and Annalis Benson did the scoring for Faith over the rest of the game to secure the win for Faith.
