PALOS HEIGHTS, Ill. -- Maranatha faced a familiar opponent in Trinity Christian College on Thursday night in Illinois, falling to the Trolls in straight sets inside of DeVos Gymnasium.

The Trolls put down 34 kills while attacking at a rate of .467 on the night; Maranatha stayed quiet for the most part, posting just 12 kills, 3 aces, and 1 block on the night.
Trinity's Ethan Oros brought the aura, leading the hosts with 6 kills on the night. Austin Risser was right behind him with 5 kills.

For Maranatha, Isaiah Johnson continued his steady hitting with a team-high 5 kills and 5 digs while Caleb Goetz contributed 3 kills and 4 digs. 

The Sabercats were held to a dozen points in a given set on the night, as Trinity controlled the momentum of the match.
