WATERTOWN, WIS. -- Will Schultz was a force to be reckoned with in January, and the sophomore forward has been named as the Pizza Ranch Student-Athlete of the Month - an in-house award given by Maranatha Athletics.

Schultz led the Sabercats on the offensive end to the tune of 15.9 points per game while shooting 43 percent from the floor. The big man scored double-digit points in four of the six games in the month, posting a season-high 28 points in the final game of January, which was a 75-89 road loss to Emmaus.

While the moment came in February, Schultz just passed 500 career points for good measure, as the sophomore scored 25 points against Spurgeon Collegeon Tuesday night.
