DUBUQUE, Iowa. -- The Clarke University Pride had their way with their home doubleheader on a Friday night in Dubuque, taking two decisive wins over the Sabercats, 15-1 and 17-0.
Maranatha's run came in the top of the fifth inning in the first game, as Cadence Scott tallied the only hit of the contest to set up Dani Gaul to hit with a Ryleigh Bill on third base. Gaul promptly recorded an RBI on a fielder's choice to bring Bill home.
Grace Strauch and Beka D'Oyley recorded hits in the second game of the day, as the Sabercats took a heavy loss and had a hard time dealing with the Clarke pitchers on the day.
