WATERTOWN, Wis. -- The Mount Mary Blue Angels had their way with the doubleheader today, posting a couple of 5-inning wins over the Sabercats at Brandt-Quirk Park.

Grace Strauch and Ryleigh Bill recorded RBIs for the Sabercats in the losses. Bethany Searle pitched all 5 innings of the first game and only allowed 3 earned runs, as the Blue Angels took advantage of some Sabercat errors. The miscues continued to haunt the Sabercats in the second game of the day, as Mount Mary posted their 10 runs on just 5 hits, with 6 Sabercat errors thrown in in the doubleheader loss.

The Sabercats will host their final doubleheader of the season on Monday at 12:30 PM against Martin Luther College.
