WYOMING, Mich. -- The Sabercats had their hands full on the weekend, falling 0-11 to the third-ranked Grace Christian University Tigers. It was the Sabercats' second game in as many days.
The loss makes it a 1-1 weekend for Maranatha, who will look forward to hosting Andrews University on Thursday, October 2, looking for a sweep of the Cardinals in the regular season series.

Kendall Johnson grabbed the headlines on the day, as the freshman notched a school-record 7 goals for Grace Christian. That performance alone sends Johnson to third in the NCCAA DII for goals this season. Other contributors for the Tigers were Natalie Johnson, Natalie Huerta, Aubanie TenBrink, and Sierra Fonseca.
The Tigers scored 7 in the first half before completing the scoring with 4 in the second. Chloe Dodd and Clare McPhillips split the game in goal for the Sabercats, combining for 18 saves on the day.
