WATERTOWN, Wis. -- The Sabercats Women's Soccer Team saw their season come to a disappointing end yesterday, as they fell 2-1 to Grace Christian University in the NCCAA Midwest Region Semifinal. Samantha Sipla scored a goal after a mesmerizing solo run from Amelia Schroeder, but it wasn't enough to fuel a comeback.
The Sabercats finish the season with a 5-10-3 record.

The Tigers added to their 1-0 halftime lead with a free kick in the 54th minute, and the Sabercats had their backs against the wall.
Amelia Schroeder finally took things into her own hands in the 74th minute, powering her way through 4 Tiger defenders before crossing the ball to Sipla in the middle of the box. Sipla touched the ball to her right before slotting a shot low into the net for the Sabercats' first goal of the game.
