STORY
In the regional semifinal, the Sabercats faced the Emmaus Eagles, who were awarded the #1 seed in the Midwest Region. From the start, the Eagles' Marina Keck and Aubry Silva showed that they would be a dynamic duo to be reckoned with throughout the game. By halftime, the pair had scored nearly half of Emmaus' points. Throughout the first half, the Sabercats felt the absence of Kristyn Pill as they struggled to contain Emmaus' top scorers and minimize turnovers. Going into halftime, the score was 16-36.
In the last half of the game, the Sabercats' scoring steadily improved, but it wasn't enough to dig themselves out of the hole they found themselves in. In the fourth quarter, the Eagles outscored the Sabercats by only 2 points, with the fourth-quarter scoring standing at 18-16. All in all, the final score was 74-43, sending the Sabercats packing and Eagles to the regional championship.
