MANKATO, Minn. -- The Sabercats struggled to find any sort of offensive momentum in a doubleheader at Bethany Lutheran, falling in a doubleheader to the Vikings' strong performance at the mound.
Easton Pratt highlighted a dominant day for the Vikings' pitching staff, allowing just 4 hits while logging 8 strikeouts in the first game of the day. The Sabercats will regroup and travel to Eureka on Tuesday to take on the Red Devils in a rescheduled doubleheader from April 3.

STORY
Easton Pratt brought his best stuff to the mound for Bethany in the opener, making short work of the Sabercats and allowing no runs in the first inning. Bethany's Carter Daly was the danger man at the plate in the first game, putting up 6 RBIs and scoring 4 runs of his own to fuel the hosts' first win of the day.
Bethany continued to pour it on in the second game, this time with Caeden Willaert at the mound. It was the first win of the 2026 season for Willaert, who allowed just 3 hits out of the Sabercats, none of which would come to fruition with any runs. Eureka was absolutely relentless in the second game, scoring 20 runs to take a commanding win.
