2015: Holbrook (then Katie "Vander Pluym") was always the lead runner for the Sabercats, and finished second in the nation at NCCAA DII Nationals with a season-best of 19:57.3 for the Women's 5K... With her runner-up finish at Nationals, Holbrook was named an NCCAA All-American... Holbrook was named both an AD3I and an NCCAA Student-Athlete of the Week, and was named to the AD3I 2nd Team All-Independent... Holbrook finished second at the Sabercat Invitational in September... Holbrook was also an NCCAA Scholar-Athlete.

2014: Holbrook finished second at NCCAA Nationals with a 5K time of 19:57.6 and was subsequently named an NCCAA All-American... Holbrook finished second at the Sabercat Invitational with a 20:49 pace in the Women's 5K... PR'd at 19:21.9 at the Bethel Invite on October 11th... Named AD3I Rookie Runner of the Year... AD3I 1st Team All-Independent selection.
