Lawson returns to his alma mater with a wealth of coaching experience under his belt in Missouri and Arizona. When he was at Maranatha, he helped the team to their only NCCAA regional championship in 2008, as the team logged a resounding win over Moody Bible Institute before finishing 5th at the NCCAA DII National Tournament.
