Box Score ROCKFORD, Ill. - After going into the locker room down just 1-0 and very much in the game, the Sabercats fell prey to a late Rockford surge, falling 1-5 to be denied their third consecutive win to end the regular season. Four of the five goals in the second half game in the final nine minutes. Wira Wama had a late goal, but it would not be enough against the hard-charging Regents.

How it Happened
- 9' - Just under ten minutes into the game, the Regents broke through for the first goal of the contest when Jonathan Hernandez finished a breakaway from close range (0-1)
- 49' - Hernandez struck again just a few minutes into the first half on a well-placed strike to the bottom corner (0-2)
- 81' - The Sabercats put the pressure on the Regents and nearly broke through with shots from Nathan Akers and Caleb Hockema, but the Regents put in a decisive goal in the waning minutes from a free kick (0-3)
- 83' - Two minutes later, Clayton Duffy bravely went in for a tackle with Randal Larson, and was the beneficiary of a kind deflection as the ball popped up and bounced in to the gaping Sabercats' goal (0-4)
- 84' - Wira Wama supplied the breakthrough for the Sabercats when he cut to his right, beat two defenders, and wrapped a well-placed shot to the far corner from the top of the box. Wama's goal would ultimately be nothing more than a consolation goal for the Sabercats (1-4)
- 87' - With just three minutes on the clock, the Regents completed their dynamic finish when Joseph Romano slammed in a shot from inside the box (1-5)
