APPLETON, Wis. -- The Sabercats had their hands full at Lawrence University last night, falling in straight sets inside Alexander Gymnasium.
One more away match stands between the Sabercats and three consecutive home matches, which will be a prelude to the 2024 NCCAA Midwest Region Tournament in Watertown, November 7-9.

The Vikings frustrated the Sabercats' efforts in the first two sets, holding the Sabercats to just 7 points in each. Aliana Butler-Gray was the main character for the Vikings, as she posted 10 kills in the match, fueling a 22-kill, 2-error attack through the first two sets. The Vikings were precise, and the Sabercats had work to do.
Maranatha's best performance came in the third set, as they ground out 17 points in the frame. Tessa Hinze and Ella Malmanger led the offensive efforts with 3 kills apiece; Megan Miller led the defense with 8 digs.
