BELOIT, Wis. -- In the first of a two-match series with Beloit for the 2024 season, the Sabercats took a 3-set loss on the road on Friday night.
This was the final away match of the Sabercats' season, as they return home next week for three home matches, which will be a prelude to the 2024 NCCAA Midwest Region Tournament in Watertown, November 7-9.

STORY
Consistency was key for the Buccaneers, as they steadily contributed 12 or 13 kills in each set, led by 10 from McKayla Simao. Offensive momentum was a bit of a struggle for Maranatha, who had a match-best 7 kills in the second set - a close 22-25 loss for the Sabercats.
Beloit closed out the match comfortably behind a balanced attack. Simao was supported by Naomi Murphy and Kierra Hoover, who registered 7 kills apiece. Megan Anderson, Megan Miller, and Tessa Hinze led Maranatha with 3 kills apiece; Anderson led the defense with 11 digs, which was her third-best mark this season.
