STORY
Maranatha came out with energy to start the game at Grinnell, going on a 9-0 run to bring the Pioneer's early lead to just two-points midway through the first half (19-21).
But the Sabercats energy was quickly depleted as Grinnell continually pushed the tempo of the game. Maranatha was unable to slow things down on offense, which resulted in 28 turnovers that Grinnell converted into 31 points.
The turnovers were not the leading factor in the Sabercat loss however. Grinnell found favor behind the arc all game long, finishing with 26 three-pointers to Maranatha's three. Six of those conversions for Grinnell came from Kai Te Huki, who finished with 26-points and led his team in the 135-79 win.
