STORY
Things looked promising for Maranatha early on in the game as a quick three-pointer from Chris Orsello gave them a five point lead. But Northwestern stayed close behind as the two teams battle for the edge.
With the Eagles leading 25-23 with just over eight minutes to go in the first half, the Sabercats seemed to face a drought as they couldn't get a single shot to fall for the rest of the half. Northwestern had no problems on the other end of the court, however, and extended their lead to 50-23 at halftime after going on a 25-0 run.
The Eagles only shot better in the second half, shooting just over 60 percent from the field. While the Sabercats improved their play as well, the damage had already been done and Northwestern cruised to a 108-60 victory.
