Box Score WATERTOWN, Wis.— Beloit was too hot to handle on the Sabercats floor, as the Bucaneers took home an 86-50 win last night.
Semaj Roy led the charge for the Bucs, scoring a team-high 18 points on the night. Grant Brock led the blue and gold with 13 points as he earned his first start of the season.

STORY
In the opening minutes of the contest, the Bucs went on a 15-5 run, leaving the Sabercats work to do to get back into the game. Despite the Sabercats' efforts, the Bucs kept the pedal to the metal, shooting just under 50% overall as the Bucs defense simultaneously kept the Sabercats shooting below 35%. Going into halftime, the score sat at 38-25.
Coming out of the locker room, the Bucs were determined to keep the momentum and the Sabercats were primed to stop it. Powered by a string of points by Semaj Roy, the Bucs won out, going on a 24-5 run to increase their lead to 65-31 with just over 8 minutes left on the clock. The Sabercats continued to fight, but couldn't come back from the run that had begun the second half. As the clock expired, the Bucs took the victory, 86-50.
