STORY
The Sabercats scored the first 4 points of the game, but couldn't seem to connect a string of shots in the opening half, as the stingy Blue Devils defense kept the Sabercats to shooting less than 40 percent from the floor in the first half. Despite the Sabercats' early lead, a 7-0 Stout run punished the Sabercats for turnovers and missed opportunities alike, and the visitors had full control of the game as the first half drew to a close.
The Cardinals amped up their physicality and purpose in the second half, as the Sabercats would only come to within 16 points in the final act. The Blue Devils had their way in the paint, going 55% in the second half and scoring 52 points in the entirety of the game. They sported a well-balanced offense, with 3 players scoring 14 points.
The Sabercats will look to tune up their game as they play one more game before Thanksgiving break.
