STORY
The lead changed hands constantly through the majority of the first half, but going into the locker room, a pair of free throws from James Hawley gave the Sabercats the edge, 38-36.
The second half was a chance for the Sabercats to regroup, as both teams struggled to find the hoop in the opening minutes of the half. Scoring was again back and forth, until the Sabercats broke free to go on a 9 point run in the 12th minute of the half. Principia still kept their foot in the door, never allowing their deficit to exceed 10 points. In the last 3 minutes of the game, the Panthers pounced, capitalizing on late game fouls and turnovers.
When it was all said and done, the Panthers managed to steal a 2-point win, marking their second win of the season.
