BELOIT, Wis.— Beloit College was too hot to handle on their home floor, as the Buccaneers took home a 78-67 win over the Sabercats Tuesday night.
The Bucs shot just under 50 percent from distance and overall, pushing five players into double figures. For Maranatha, Will Schultz led the Blue and Gold with 14 points while Brayden Cox had 12.

STORY
The first half was a chase, as Beloit kept trying to build a lead but found the Sabercats hot on their heels every time. Six late points from Schultz and 4 from Grant Brock kept the Sabercats close, and at halftime, it was a one-possession game with Beloit leading 32-29.
Beloit busted out to an early lead in the second half and never really looked back, holding off any hopes of a Sabercat comeback. A 7-0 Sabercats run in the last three minutes was broken by a three-pointer from Beloit, dousing the fire that the Sabercats tried to light.
