STORY
The Sabercats took on their first NCCAA Midwest Region opponents of the season as they faced the Grace Christian University Tigers, who received votes in the latest NCCAA coaches' poll.
The Sabercats struggled to get on the board in the opening minutes of the game, but found their spark three minutes into the game. As they took an 8-6 lead, the Sabercats would fight to hang on to their lead by a thin margin, never taking more than a 6-point lead. With 6:30 on the clock in the first half, the Tigers struck with a vengeance, racking up a 12-point lead going into halftime.
Coming into the second half, the Tigers rode their momentum through the rest of the game, never allowing the Sabercats to come within real striking distance. They aptly utilized their bench, scoring 41 points to the Sabercats' 8.
