ADRIAN, Mich. -- In their weekend trip to Michigan, the Sabercats were denied a win by Adrian and Hiram, who handed the Sabercats two straight-set losses.

STORY
In the first match of the day against Adrian, the Sabercats mitigated the Bulldogs' early run by forcing errors on the other side of the net. Scoring would remain fairly even until the Bulldogs broke away on an 8-2 run, leaving the score at 22-12. The set would finish with the Sabercats scoring just 3 more points.

The second and third sets would unfold in a similar manner, with the Sabercats showing signs of improvement along the way. The final scores would rest at 15-25 and 19-25, respectively.

Unfortunately for the Sabercats, their matches with Hiram would prove to be no easier. In the first set, the Sabercats only managed to score 12 points against Hiram's high-powered offense. The Sabercats fared better in the last two games, scoring 18 and 19 points, but couldn't quite do enough to get a set win.
