LANSING, Mich. -- In yet another NCCAA Midwest Region clash, the Sabercats battled the Great Lakes Crusaders valiantly, but were ultimately outmatched 3-1.

STORY 
In the 5th of 9 straight games against NCCAA Midwest region rivals, the Sabercats faced the Crusaders on their home floor. The Sabercats started out strong, taking a commanding first set win, 25-19. The rest of the night was more lopsided in favor of the hosts, as they took the next two sets, holding the Sabercats to 17 and 18 points in each set. The last of the four sets went down to the wire, as both teams refused to give up. Eventually the Crusaders took the set, 25-27, giving them the match win for the evening.

The Sabercats look forward to their next NCCAA Midwest region matchup on Friday, as they take on the Grace Tigers on their home floor.
