DUBUQUE, Iowa -- The Sabercats head to Dubuque, Iowa this afternoon for the first "NCCAA Super Regional" - a race hosted by Emmaus University that welcomes teams from the NCCAA Central, North, and Midwest Regions.
The meet is treated as a regular meet for NCCAA Nationals qualifying, but the stakes of winning and the title of regional champion are reason enough for the teams to peak.

Men's Preview
The hosts, Emmaus University (NCCAA Midwest), have reported the fastest team time this season and are slated to win the event comfortably, with North Central University (NCCAA North) taking second and Crown (NCCAA North) rounding out the podium. Maranatha is projected to finish sixth with lead runner Shem Abdnour chasing the all-region placements.

Women's Preview
Crown College is the clear favorite, as Ella Dufault leads the entire NCCAA DII with a 18:47 5K time this season. Moody (NCCAA Midwest), a historically powerful NCCAA school at the national level, is slated for a second-place finish while Emmaus is slated to finish third. Maranatha is slated to finish 5th out of 5 teams on the day.
