GREENVILLE, S.C. -- Shem Abdnour had a day to remember on Friday, and the National Christian College Athletic Association has named the junior from Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin as the Men's Cross Country Division II Student-Athlete of the Week.

Abdnour ran a personal-record 29:10 in the NCCAA Super Regional 8K, finishing fourth to earn NCCAA All-Region honors. That time of 29:10 was good enough for 14th all-time in Maranatha Men's Cross Country program history.

The junior runner leads the squad, which team prepares for November 15th and the NCCAA National Meet in Warsaw, Indiana.
