STORY
DUBUQUE, Iowa. -- It was a record-setting race for both teams, as 10 out of 11 Sabercats ran PRs and Cristian Rodriguez, Colton Brendel, Jacob Stille, and Samantha Prigge each punched their ticket to nationals. Each met the individual qualifying times set by the NCCAA (Men's 8K - 34:00, Women's 5K - 24:30). Andrew Dorothy led the Sabercats, finishing in 12th place.
Crown College swept the meet, taking first place for the men and women. Theo Thurber (Trinity Bible) crossed the finish line first with a time of 27:58. With a time of 18:32, Ella Dufault led the Crown Polars to sweep the top 6 finishes.
Thanks to their performance at the Ken Weidt Classic earlier this season, the entire men's team is headed to nationals on November 14 and will be joined by Gini Cooper and Samantha Prigge.
