JOPLIN, Mo. -- Andrew Dorothy, Cristian Rodriguez, Jacob Stille, and Ryan Mayer peaked when it mattered most, running the best times of their career on Friday.
Dorothy crossed the finish line first for the Sabercat men, finishing with a time of 29:42. Despite Boyce's first-place individual finish, Bob Jones took home the gold, with just 27 points. The second-place team was Moody Bible Institute, finishing with 81 points. The Sabercats finished in 7th place, beating the Faith Eagles by almost 40 points.
On the women's side, Gini Cooper finished with a time of 24:17, trailed by Samantha Prigge just over 30 seconds later. Crown's Ella Dufault finished first overall, beating second place by almost a minute with a time of 19:35. She led the Polars to a first-place team finish, denying Bob Jones the Nationals sweep.
